If you’re having trouble connecting bluetooth headphones to the Studio for the first time:
- Open the Control Center on the top right corner of the Studio screen. Then tap the Headphones tile.
- Check to see whether the headphones are showing in the “Pair A New Device” list.
- If the device is shown, select it. A check mark will appear when the device is successfully connected.
- If the headphones are not appearing in the list, make sure they are in pairing mode. After putting them in pairing mode, wait a few mins to see if they appear.
- Tap your headphones on the list and wait for a check mark to appear confirming that they are connected.
If you’re having trouble connecting the headphones to the Studio even though you’ve previously been able to:
- Open the Control Center on the top right corner of the Studio screen. Then tap the Headphones tile.
- Check to see whether the headphones shows in the “Your Devices” list.
If the device is shown, but there is not a check mark next to it (meaning it is not connected), or you receive a connection error:
- Navigate to Settings, then tap the System button, then tap the Reset button. This will remove all member profiles, bluetooth devices and network settings.
- Once reset, proceed to reconnecting the Studio to the network, sign into your member profile, and re-pair the headphones to the Studio (make sure that it is in pairing mode and close by, and look for it to reappear on the list “Pair a New Device.")
- Once it appears on the list, tap it and wait for the check mark to appear.
If the device is shown, but there is not a check mark next to it (meaning it is not connected):
- Tap the “Forget” button, which will remove the headphones from the list of “Your Devices.”
- Next, to reconnect the device, make sure that it is in pairing mode and close by, and look for it to reappear on the list “Pair a New Device.”
- Once it appears on the list, tap it and wait for the check mark to appear.
If the headphones are still not showing on the list while in pairing mode, try to pair another set of bluetooth headphones if you have them. If you’re able to successfully pair the second set of headphones, then there is likely an issue with the initial pair you were trying to connect.
Note: for AirPods & Pros, the earbuds should be in the case with the lid open when pairing. Please press and hold the small white button on the back of the case for a couple of seconds until the white light begins to flash, indicating that it’s in pairing mode and ready to be discovered.
